Naruto's not to sure about this lazy shmuck with the bad hairdo... XD FULL VIEW PLEASE! (sorry it's so big..) An item for the  's current contest: A "what if" piece concerning Team Yondaime, and if everyone had survived. Since there's a lot of creative thought concerning this, I'll explain a littleFirstly, I figure if Obito lived, it was because there wasn't a war in the first place, so he's escaped unscathed (as has Kakashi). He's a Jounin, though somewhat unremarkable. He was probably late to awaken his sharingan without being under the pressure to protect his friends. Kakashi would be different too. I really believe that it was the loss of his friends that caused such a drastic change in personality between his childhood and adulthood. I also don't think he really cracks out to be very good 'sensei' material. He's goin' solo while Obito deals with the 'brats' Naruto would also probably be unremarkable, without Kyuubi or any of the agonies of his childhood. Obviously these are peaceful times if the Yondaime Hokage has the time to sneak off into the woods for a break with his students. Wether or not Obito survived because the Uchiha massicre did or did not happen, I think Sasuke's emo-streak would probably prevail as a natrual quirk of his personality. He's not too thrilled at being stuck with his 'shouldn't be allowed in the family' uncool big cousin as his sensei. (XD) AAANYWAY. I'm actually pretty proud with how this turned out. Again playing with multiple figures in a setting, obviously, and toying with the cell-shading style, too. Either way, I absolutely WORKED MY FREAKING BUTT OFF on this. Approximately 16 hours from start to finish. About half of that was the lineart. Rin and Yondaime-Sama wouldn't sit still, they kept switching places on the page, shuffling about, sitting down, standing up... Kakashi wouldn't keep his feet still either, wich also made it hard. XD |

I had fun drawing Rin's outfit. ^_^ I don't get to do female fashion too much since I just don't draw women that much.
I had a really hard time with it
but she was the only one out of the seven there that I really had any creative room to play with, so I ran with it.
Her geen toenails make me think of Sakura (some of the official artwork for her gives her green painted nails like that... O_o) and I wanted to avoid that color, but Rin insisted on it. *shrug*
she kinda looks like a hippie XD

Uchiha Obito.
By cannon, he died when he was about 12...he was one of Kakashi's teammates (along with the woman to their left, Rin) they had a lot of fun trying to kill eachother. Kakashi's Sharingan eye actually was a gift from Obito as he died. You'd have to have read all the manga chapters released in Japan to know this..they haven't animated this arc of the Naruto story yet.
Anyway, this is a piece for a competition. A "what if" thing, since Kakashi is the sole survivor of his team by the time he's Team 7's sensei. (didn't you read my notes?)
